Having a continuous supply of clean, fresh and cool water in the office or work place has been well proven to improve concentration and productivity. Experts say that we should be aiming towards drinking around eight cups of good quality water per day.
Correct hydration also plays an important role in improving digestion, increasing our metabolic rate and helps control our weight and also keeping our brain working efficiently.
At Guernsey Vending we are committed to suppling our clients high quality Acis coolers, which meet all safety and hygiene standards. Acis coolers have dispense buttons rather than traditional taps thus avoiding hand to tap contamination. The units are smart and modern, and being constructed from stainless steel and impact resistant plastics, results in the machine looking better for longer.
Acis coolers also consume less than half the electricity of older type machines, making them more efficient, quieter and greener.
Acis coolers come in two different variations, either bottle water fed from our 18.9 litre bottles, or Point Of Use (POU) machines which are plumbed into your mains water supply, the water being filtered and chilled as it passes through the machine. Water blocks are fitted as standard to POU machines. These minimize the risk of flooding if a pipe or component should fail within the equipment.
The machines are available in either free standing or table top versions, and all have two water outlets, one for chilled water and one for ambient temperature water.
Included in the rental cost is regular sanitizing of bottle coolers which is carried out every 13 weeks as recommended by the British Water Cooler Association, but you can opt to have the machine sanitized at intervals decided by yourself which will reduce rental cost.
POU machines are normally serviced either six monthly or yearly depending on use. The cost of servicing is factored into the rental price, and includes changing the water filter, de-scaling and sanitizing the machine.
Our water comes from the south coast of the UK in 18.9 litre bottles. Regular small deliveries mean fresher, better quality water for you, and less chance of the water going green.
Spare bottles should be kept out of direct sunlight and bottle racks are available free on loan from us, to ensure your spare bottles can be stacked neatly, saving valuable floor space.
All the used bottles are collected from you, and are then returned to the UK spring, then cleaned and sterilized and refilled for reuse.
Collection and delivery of bottles is always free.
Machines are also normally installed free, as long as major plumbing or electrical work is not needed.
